Entry Policy for RTA 2000 Top Pickleball Open
To ensure competitive balance at RTA tournaments, the following entry policy will be applied at this tournament. It’s the recommended policy by the RTA Pickleball Tour.
If the tournament fills up early:
- Top 8 players in singles and top 12 players in doubles (based on the RTA 52-week ranking) can enter the tournament up to 30 days before the tournament start date.
- If necessary, the lowest-rated players (DUPR*) will be replaced to accommodate higher-ranked entrants.
- If multiple players have the same lowest DUPR* rating, the registration date will determine who gets replaced (earliest registered stays).
This policy ensures that top-ranked players always have access to RTA tournaments while keeping the entry process fair and transparent.
*DUPR ranking based on the rating 30 days prior tournament start date.
